14/01/2009 Want to be a Radio Host? Are you jazz inclined?
Hello there Newmarket friends! We are happy to inform you all on a very exciting opportunity!
3MDR (97.1FM), Mountain District Radio was born in 1983 as a result of too little public communication during the Ash Wednesday fires in Victoria. Since then the amazing volunteers have built an empire of a community station, now situated in Emerald Hill. As they are a community station, they do not make a profit other than what is required to keep the station running.
Currently they are seeking a jazz fan to host a 2 hour weekly show, at a time slot to suit the lucky candidates schedule. If you are interested, please send us an email at Newmarket Music and we can direct you to the relevant contact at 3MDR. For a comprehensive account of the station, head to their website www.3mdr.com
