We have so much going on here at Newmarket at the moment.... with amazing new ROCK, BLUES, ALT COUNTRY, FOLK and of-course Jazz!
The renowned Melbourne vocalist, Kelly Auty, has released her new French album with Newmarket Music titled: MADEMOISELLE CHANTE. Kelly is performing at various locations around Victoria and this weekend (7th- 8th March) at the Port Fairy Folk Festival.

Award winning, Ali Towers creates a unique sound of breathtaking complexity tamed by his uplifting voice and dark tales of loss, mortality and hope. Ali's debut EP is available soon through Newmarket Music and has already been listed as 'Album of the Week' on Australian Internet Radio.

Can you believe it is only a few short weeks till Santa comes down the chimney!
Newmarket music is proud to present the debut release of 'UNRAVELLING' by Vehere. The trio formed in late 2008 after Foran and Bleivik put together a group to perform new improvised based music while Foran was studying his Masters in Leeds, UK thanks to a Brisbane City Council Artist Fellowship and Ian Potter Cultural Trust Grant. An obvious choice was the clarinetist Badenhorst, who Foran had worked with previously in Canada, at the Banff Workshop in improvised music. The initial chemistry at shows and recordings in the UK in October 2008 was stunning. The trio draw upon their various cultural influences to create music that conjures up sounds of scandinavian folk music, contemporary improvised music, and a range of jazz, world, folk traditions and ideas.
Other new releases to look out for in the not to distant future is.. Michael Charles & Magisty's CONNECTED & Steve & Mal Sedergreen's MISTAKEN IDENTITY LIVE.
